Fragrant Tuberose has a lovely scent that is likened to the sweet aroma of a gardenia. Typically, single tuberose lei is strung through the center of the flower and is often entwined around other leis (such as Maile, Ti Leaf, Firecracker, etc.) It is sewn by using the long (approx one inch) stem where the end result is lovely, but varigated due to the stems.
We have taken the single tuberose lei one step further. We have created the short stem tuberose lei that you will not find anywhere else. We carefully cut all the stems of the tuberose so just the amazing blossom "heads" are sewn. It creates a fuller single-style lei using twice as many tuberose. The result is an amazing full-bodied look. The tuberose sings in this lei!
Single strand or layered, this is a fine choice for brides, VIPS, graduates, or any other special occasion. This lei looks beautiful on both men and women. NOTE: During April 27–June 15 (graduation season), we experience very high demand and expect shortages of tuberose and ginger. This lei may be supplemented with orchids without prior notice, though we will keep it as close as possible to the original design.
